Brothers Rony (Drums) and Elie (Double Bass) make up AFIF - a name now totally synonymous with jazz in the UAE.

Their impeccable grooves have caught the ear of esteemed international artists such as Bobby McFerrin and have seen them perform at some of the world's top jazz festivals like Java (Jakarta), Mongo (Brussels), and WOMAD (Abu Dhabi). Now based in Dubai, Rony and Elie bring an amazing repertoire of sounds - from silky smooth classics to stage-pounding improvisations and original fusions. Without a doubt they play centre stage in the UAE's fast-emerging jazz scene.
