Hamami Trio
Make a bookingBiography
Most great musical alliances start with a lucky meeting and Lidia bumped into the legendary Syrian violinist Mohamad Hamami during filming of a TV promotional set. As they were packing up their instruments, a guest jokingly requested some Dabkeh (Arabic dance music), and with the magical voice of Mohamad's brother Ayham on vocals as well as percussion, a new band was born.
Since then they've done numerous TV shows and featured at high profile events.
The polished repertoire is guaranteed dance material - a festive mixture of popular and classic Arabic music, along with pieces composed by top musicians specifically for the group.
