Tigran studied at the Tshaikovsky music school in Armenia, specializing in percussion, after which he spent two years working in the state Opera and Ballet Academic Theater's symphonic orchestra.  He followed this with another two years in the state Radio and Television symphonic orchestra. From the year 1990 onwards, Tigran played in popular jazz clubs in Armenia, as well as the 1991 Yerevan Jazz Marathon.  In 1994, he was also invited to perform in Jazz Festivals in Syria and Lebanon. He followed his career with various concerts in Lebanon, Sweden & Russia. Prior to relocating to Dubai Tigran began teaching  in the jazz- vibraphone faculty of the State Conservatory of his native Armenia. Throughout his career, Tigran has recorded 2 studio albums - playing alongside a range of Armenia's top musicians.
