Amir grew up in a musical family and learnt to play the guitar from his father, himself a guitarist. Awarded as the best flamenco guitarist in young music festivals of Iran, Amir traveled to Spain in 2006 to meet and expand his knowledge with the contemporary masters of flamenco Guitar such as "Manolo Sanlucar" and "Gerardo Nunez". In 2010 Amir received his performing certificate as a classical guitarist from the prestegious Trinity college of London.
